Love the subtle colors and designs and the leather is soft and supple. I was totally impressed by the quality and design of the shoes. HOWEVER, they were too narrow! My daughter is a skinny baby and definitely does not have wide feet. She typically wears size 4 in Gap and Stride Rite so I thought by ordering size 4-4.5 in Umi should fit fine, but they were too narrow in the front. I don't think my daughter can put her feet in if she wears socks. The insole is padded and cush-y, and the leather is of nice quality. They are much cuter in person. I am very pleased with the fact that the sole is flexible, yet sturdy appearing. The soles are a bit thicker than See Kai Run shoes or Robeez Tredz, but still very flexible. They seem pretty true to size as well. My daughter (19 mos) wears a 6M shoe and the 6-6.5 (22) fits her pretty well. Love the style, workmanship and price. I want to get the next size in Rose so she has another pair when this one gets to be too small. I like the color, not your usual pink but a nice pearl pink with a hit of shimmer. The inside is soft, cushioned with arch support. The soles are thick and sturdy yet flexible. My daughter loved them, more than another new pair from Amazon that arrived. They're made in Vietnam, not Italy as I thought Umi would be but they appear to be of very good quality. |
