It was easy to install with no leaks or drips. It takes a wrench and a pliers to install. I had a much harder time removing the old unit than installing this one. The entire installation only took perhaps 1/2 hour. The faucet handles turn easily and smoothly. The drain plug works smoothly as well. The brushed nickel finish is very pleasing to look at; it gives an elegant appearance and will not break your budget. I purchased a similar one from Lowes inthe summer after the original AS Set started to disintegrate. Smooth and precision setup. The only issue with the whole set is the sink stopper cap being flimsy. It actually had a thin cap of metal that just popped off while placing in the sink for the first time. A spot of glue and a press fit and all is looking good. My original drain cap and tube were heavy duty metal which is in part why it looked so bad when corrosion got to over time. Not sure how well the thin metal ring of veneer is going to last, but it does look great. Nice price compared to any else and the Delta service I've had with my 2year old shower kit replacements has been good. Well worth it. |
