This is a great cymbal stand; flat base as it states and just enough lift in the legs so there's enough clearance for another stand to sneak under thge legs for a tighter set-up. Tilter is great though I don't use the memory lock. It's lightweight for travel and I guess the best review is I really haven't thought about it till this review, it works and deos exactly what Gibralter says it will.

I have been playing and touring with my kit for over 35 years and have been using all types of racks, double braced stands and a whord of heavy gear. I have to say that it was time for a change. So i sold my rack, Double braced stands and heavy gear. I was looking for a lighter way to travel and these are pefect for the road. I did not think that they may not be as sturdy as my double braced stands but i was way wrong...they are better and very stable. So if you are looking to decrese your load or want the vintage look without the sway then get these...they are worth their weight in gold!!
