Must say that I am very happy that I purchased the X-alp which gives me the ability to walk around at the gym comfortably( and quietly) even while wearing cleats. It has made my spinning classes more enjoyable. Does not hurt also that it is totally cute! I really Love Love Love this product. If possible I would have given it a 10. The only issue that I had was the size. I wear a 71/2 wide and eventually had to get the size 40. Found out my true size by going to the Pearl Izumi web site. Originally ordered the 39 which I had to exchange . I've had them for about 6 months, and I wear them to RPM cycle class 3-4 times a week. No wear and tear visible to date, so I expect they will last for years. They are very easy to put on/take off and the clip is a great way to tighten them. They look cool, too! I followed another reviewer's advice and went to the Pearl iZUMi website and looked up the sizes there. I wear a 7 1/2 and I bought a 29 which is probably closer to a size 7. I would buy these again in a heartbeat.
