However, in my experience they seem to wear out within a month and a half-two months of regular use. I use them as all purpose shoes and walk for 30-60 minutes a day on concrete so maybe it's not how they were intended to be used but still I feel this is a little quick for a shoe to start wearing out. These shoes were supposedly made to run on rough terrain so I didn't really think that using them to walk in the suburbs would really take that much of a toll on them. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful:  good heel cushioning, By This review is from: Columbia Sportswear Men's Ravenous Trail Running Shoe (Apparel) I've had problems with plantar fasciitis of the heel.
