They are 4 months old but only been worn on the very first day of school until now which is little over 3 months and they have TWO holes in them already. I just spoke with a friend who also ordered the same type and her daughter's did the same EXACT same thing in the same spot. They have holes where the toes touch on the outside edge of the shoes...both shoes have done it. For being running shoes, they are NOT worth the price. I had my first pair for a year and just replaced them now. My shin splints are gone. These are so light and comfortable. I never had a fabric splitting problem and they were used for running at least twice a week. The pink btw is VERY pink but I'm okay with that too.
