I use many types of equipment for my daily workouts, and whole body vibration will be permanently incorporated into my routines as the most fun. It has helped my posture, balance, and flexibility; but most of all, it has increased my enthusiasm and feeling of well being. When I received this product (the one being reviewed) and assembled it per the instructions, I found that its vibrations were only strong enough to affect my feet and lower ankles. I likened it to standing on an electric razor (an exaggeration). The amplitued of the vibrations was simply not large enough to product the desired effect. The tip off to this was the weight of the unit (much, much lighter than I expected), and the power supply, which was about the size of a power supply for a laptop computer - definitely not enough juice to power the vibrataions which the other reviewers claimed this unit could produce. I will get a bone desity scan in a year to know for sure about its ability to increase bone density! The shape and size make it more useful for a variety of exercises, including lying on the spine.
