    My 20 month old is very active and needs a shoe that can keep up with him. These shoes have a nice deep tread (great for city or for a big mud pit), they are very structured/solid, well made, flexible enough for running/jumping/squatting, and the Velcro is very strong (unlike some other sneakers we have purchased for him). He hasn't been able to get these off of his own feet yet, so that's a plus! Even better, they are extremely easy for US to get his feet in and out of. Overall, a tough shoe for a tough little kid.

    My boys have really wide feet,and it's very hard finding a comfy shoe for them. But, this style and brand of shoe is Wonderful. It is wide and comfy, and it is also a lightweight shoe. You know when you pick them up, the shoes don't feel like they have lead in them. My Boys ages 4 and 3 LOVE them.

    Bought these for my 6yr old and 3yr old boys, holding up strong! We only buy 2 pair of shoes per year so we pay extra for the quality and comfort of stride rites.
