I was mostly buying it so I wouldn't have to keep borrowing my church's set to practice my music for a Harry Potter musical called The Final Battle, so the fact that it was cheaper than most sets just made me happy. I also like the fact that it comes with a carrying case, so toting it to Florida for the actual musical will be easy as pie. The straps do tend to cut into your shoulders a little bit, but that doesn't really bother me. I had no use for the drum pad or drum sticks, so I gave those to a friend of mine, and he says it is one of the best he has used. The Glockenspiel sounds really great, and is just what I was looking for. The only draw back for me at the beginning was that since the stand is kind of like a camera tripod, it kind of wobbles when you hit the higher notes, but you get used to it quickly. This is also really good for beginners since it has the key names on each bar. I can't wait to start writing my own music with this...
