I converted over to minimal shoes more than a year ago, and it has helped me overcome injuries that I had with regular running shoes. In addition, I have improved with my distances and times. I run 3-4 half marathons a year and am currently training for a full marathon. I had been looking for a minimal shoe with the right protection and comfort feel, one that could handle road/pave running and easily switch over to hills/trails running (which I do a lot). I saw this shoe previewed in Runner's World and thought I'd give it a shot. This shoe does the job. Plus they have great colors. Another great minimal shoe is the Nike Free Run - great shoe but not too great if you are running through trails and hills (not enough grip).
