My first purchase from Amazon was entirely satisfactory and I am giving the test strips a three star rating because of a problem with the last strips I ordered. They must have been miscoded or damaged by the summer heat while in transit; they consistently gave readings (on the same meter at the same time) 10 to 20 or more points higher than the strips from the local pharmacy-and yes, I correctly coded the meter when I changed strips. Since I have type 2 diabetes, I went ahead and used them, with the understanding that the readings were high. This could cause a serious problem with someone with insulin, however.
