I mean, how could you ruin a quiz game? Just copy the format of the show, throw in a lot of questions, and that's about it. They took that rule seriously and left it at that. The introductions of characters, kids, and show are SO annoying and bad. All players get their choice of a thin blonde woman or a thin blonde woman. You have your choice of kids which includes a black boy, an asian girl, a white boy, a blonde white girl, and another girl who was either brunette or black, I can't remember which. It felt like a JC Penny's commercial and too forced. The voiceovers don't come close to matching the characters movements OR timing. Think "Godzilla".The actual game is annoying, the questions are ridiculous (and not in their cattegories at all), and it's just an annoying setup. We all laughed and laughed as we discovered that we aren't smarter than a fifth grader! The questions were challenging and interesting. The only downside to this version of the game is that you cannot change the player...she is a blonde, but she does look like we feel when we get it right or wrong. I definitely would recommend it to everyone who is interested in expanding their knowledge, and especially for those kids who think they know it all. |
