It is about 1.5" in length and about 1/3" across. If you blow on it hard, you will be heard. If is small enough to fit on your keychain. So I started putting together a 72 hour bag and I have whistle that looks exactly like the this one on my key chain. I figured I'd buy another exclusively for the 72 hour bag. I didn't read any of the reviews because it looks 100% exactly like the one I already have which is a fine whistle made from a single piece of aluminum. Well it arrived and was a little shocked that it was so tiny. It's not bad just much smaller than I thought. I bought the bigger one at a hobby shop an hour away from my house for a buck. So be advised that there exist an identical larger product that can be had for a buck or two if you look around your town. So do I regret my purchase? No, it's small and serves my purpose. Other reviews says it works and I can buy that though I'm not ready to go off blowing on it as hard as I can since I live with other people and have dogs just to find out. So yeah, this is a little guy. |
