Sound quality is good both on speakers and headphones, volume control tracks well and doesn't make any static while being adjusted. I was reluctant to buy this because I wasn't sure it would accomodate both 3.5 mm speaker plugs and 3.5 mm earphone plugs (the 2.5mm reference and lack of a plural on the 3.5mm specs). Just to reassure others: the four female outlets are a 3.5mm speaker, 3.5mm earphone, 3.5mm mike, and 2.5mm wireless. The labels are not legible in the photos. Anyway, I'm quite happy with it, and it's priced very well, too. I have been searching for another one for years. Here's why: It's high quality, has a volume control, allows you to separately switch headphone/speakers and mic, so you can talk on the mic while listening on the speakers AND the audio quality is really good. The others let you switch headphones and speakers but they don't let you have the mic on with speakers. Also, look at the price, it's a steal. This review is from: Audio Speaker / Headset Switching Hub, Manhattan 172851 (Electronics) I use this switch to quickly change back and forth between my computer speakers and my skype headset. This way I can hear that my phone is ringing, get over to the comp, put my headset on, and just have to push a button to switch over. Works perfect, no degradation of quality or anything.
