I used this pair of adapters to carry composite video out of a camera and audio out of a mixer, to a TV some 100 yards away. I was pleasantly surprised to see almost no signal degradation. Sound and picture came loud and clear. It's pretty amazing how well this product works, considering it's a passive device (no power required!) at low cost.
Note that the signal remains analog the whole way, this is not an ethernet signal, so don't think about connecting it to a hub/switch or computer! The little wire pairs inside the ethernet cable are used to carry the analog signals (one pair for the video, one pair for the right channel audio, and one pair for the left channel audio). The audio connectors are RCA, but the video is a BNC connector. I would have preferred it to be RCA as well, however the product does come with 2 BNC/RCA adapters so it's not a problem.
Here are the specs stated in the manual:

I was greatly surprised at how well the product works. A passive device that lets you run composite video and stereo audio over CAT5e. It really works. I bought 1 unit which includes both transmitter and receiver (they are interchangeable). I ran the CAT5e about 150ft. The picture and sound were almost as good as from the source. I am very impressed. I am using it to feed an camera output to the prayer room in my church. I am going to get at least 9 more to feed all of the TVs in the church.

Bought this to extend audio over CAT5 cable about 75 feet. Worked like a charm, no added noise, full bandwidth. Well made.
