But it was just right. Fits into closet does not take up much space. What amazed me was the power, it was quick, rotates like a large buffer you see office cleaning people use. It got the job done. I even used the Scot's Spray Buff cleaner and the both of them together, it got the job done as if a professional cleaned and shined my wood floors. Fantastic machine at a very reasonable price. The pads come with the machine, that too saved me money on buying pads. I would have thought you could get a decent machine for a $100. (Wishful thinking I suppose) It was too light to be effective at light cleaning. What was worse was the plastic began to fall apart before I could even use it. I mean really really cheap plastic for the handle and the cord wrap. I gave this unit away to the local thrift store. Too bad, it looked promising. Be warned especially if you intend to do any moderate cleaning. It was functional and practical. This one isn't. The unit is very light and does not have enough muscle to strip floor finish. The on/off switch is also awkward to use as it requires the handle to be held at a certain angle to activate it which results in constant power loss as I tried to maneuver the device around the kitchen floor. Without a new coat of wax, it wasn't worth the time to try it as a buffer.I returned it without any problem after downloading the UPS slip from Amazon. Refund notification was prompt. I do not recommend this buffer. The 'made in China' label didn't endear it to me either. |
