| 8 of 8 people found the following review helpful  Fun to play + Great tones = 5 to 6 Benjamins, By This review is from: Fender Lone Star(TM) Stratocaster� Electric Guitar, Black, Rosewood Fretboard (Electronics) The Fender Deluxe Lonestar hss Stratocaster in current form is a made in Mexico product[although I detect some American parts].The body has several contours[arm rest and belly].Received the black with tortoise pickguard,white plastics and fretboard dots.Rosewood neck in HSS form.Pickups are the reason I bought this model.Even though I've been playing for 30 years I sold my Amer.Deluxe Strat and after a while bought this one.These go for 6 hundred map price.Very fun guitar, setup very well,frets even and no sharp edges.Nice chrome hardware,nice gloss finish [urethane],6 screw vintage looking 2 1/16 narrow spacing tremolo bridge[Jimi,Eric,Stevie used em],4 ply tortoise front, white on back cover,Texas special single coils are great on neck and middle positions and fit right in with the Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates Plus humbucker in bridge.[If you got a tube amp,even better].Neck is spot on.Frets look like medium jumbos.Nice guitar and its a Fender,so if ya gotta,ya can...
