Rooms Like None You Have Ever Seen
In Rooms: The Main Building players walk into a mystery like none they have ever experienced. An invitation abruptly arrived at your doorstep diverts you to the entrance of a world that is physically scrambled, yet filled with mystic beauty. In that world, you need to reach the exit by sliding the pieces of rooms in the same way as a slide puzzle. At the same time you must use fantastic devices to navigate through each of these rooms. The solution is only a doorstep away. Getting there is the easy part. Finding a way home will be the adventure.

Gameplay
Rooms: The Main Building is a point-and-click puzzle game that utilizes the classic sliding tile puzzle mechanic to challenge the player to move through a gameworld made up of more than 100 rooms that have been inexplicably rearranged. To escape these rooms players use the Wii Remote to click on the blank areas next to the section of the room that your character is in. This shifts your character to that section. But think ahead and plan accordingly to avoid problem areas that are bound to arise. In addition to spatially oriented thinking, special items can also help you through your journey. For instance, use a ladder to climb vertically to a new room section, or teleport to entirely new areas or rooms via one of the mysterious telephones available throughout the game. These items and more can be found at various spots in the play area, or in the central areas connecting rooms, know as "Rooms Street" and the "Rooms Mansion." Here you can also interact with non-player characters and get a better understanding of how this jumbled world came to be.

Multiplayer
The Wii version of Rooms: the Main Building features a two-player versus multiplayer mode which is designed to inspire head-to-head competition. In it the goal is to be the first to find the best items and move the room sections around to reach the exit you desire.

I thought at first this would be a easy game boy was I wrong. I have had so much fun playing it and are still trying to figure out some puzzles.
I have been suck on the last mansion on one puzzle for about week now. This is a great game. If you get a puzzle wrong most of the time you can still move to another one and then go back and fix it that is what I did and then when you get them all right you receive your trophies. There are four levels of the mansion, a hotel, antique shop and a subway you have to open. You receive different items along the way for the different area's to use them in. You talk to a book that helps you on your way. I might play it again after I'm done the frist time. I say buy and try it. MY husband even tries to help me and he not a game player. I was never a puzzle player for wii until I found this and the Titanic I'm hooked.

3.0 out of 5 stars Game is okay at best., June 7, 2010
= Fun:2.0 out of 5 stars

I bought his game hoping it would be a bit more interesting like some of the more graphically simple yet cool hidden objects games (like there: [...]) you can play for free online. Ultimately, I came away unimpressed by the graphics (hard to see, weird mix of tiny cartoonish steampunk and photos) and kind of bored with the story/mystery. The writing was also really rough--almost like it had been written in another language and translated. It, too, was kind of boring and not very interesting/worthwhile.

The only reason I give the game three stars is because I didn't immediately turn it off because I was interested enough to play with it a while. And my girlfriend picked up where I left off and played for another hour or so. We'll see if either of us ever go back to it or not...

This game is sooo much fun. The rooms become more complex and challenging as you play. I really think this is a sleeper hit. I love this game!
